An Open Letter to WordPress

August 1, 2008

Dear WordPress,

My blog has been dead for more than a month. I’ve been doing a lot of things, and my regular habit of blogging (if I have the chance to go online) is now gone. This opportunity has become rare due to a very busy yet enjoyable month–a month of intensive school work, tedious student council activities, weekly party with friends and agitating series of youth and sectoral protests (that includes the State of the Nation Address rally). Whew! :)

Although there is an intensifying political unrest happening in the country due to this government’s continuing greed for power and wealth, I’ll try not to sound too political this time.

Right at this very moment, I’m laptop-ing about a lot of things inside the Student Council office, and I don’t have anything sensible to post. In fact, I’m singing out loud (and I intend to sing out-of-tune while typing this) as if no one hears me. Browsing different links, I saw Daniel’s blog and found a tag post. Unfortunately, I can’t do it because it’s too long for me. I also tried to do Yeye’s tag, just to find out that I already did that one. Pfft.

I want to post something about the fcuking SONA of this power-hungry “President”, but I think it’s too late now. Besides, why waste my time criticizing the whole speech of lies? It’s tedious and agitating. To discuss my academics, on the other hand, is something that seems boring. And, oh, I have no lovelife to talk about, and that hurts me more. :(

Anyway, I have to thank you for the hosting that you’ve been providing me for almost a year now. It has been very satisfying for an obsessive-compulsive guy like me. *hugs* Don’t worry, I’ll be using your .org thing on my future web page.

Whoa, WordPress. Sorry for this sabaw post. I’m getting crazy. LOL. I miss you so much. Keep in mind how much I treasure you.

Much love,
Yom. :)
