His Birthday and Relaunch

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THE BUZZERBEATER! :D

Last November 17, The Buzzerbeater celebrated his first technical year as a regular blogger. Let’s trace the bloggista in him! :D

2002 — He was introduced by a schoolmate in the world of blogging. He then made a blog site on Blogspot, which he wasn’t able to sustain.

November 30, 2004 — He created his Hi5 blog and posted a wala lang post. Also on his Hi5 blog is a heartfelt prayer of a kid who desperately needs money for his Advanced Biology project.

July 23, 2005 — The Friendster Blog was newly-introduced to Friendster users. He readily created one. His Friendster blog has become an outlet of his secret admiration to a girl he had loved for a year and a half. Also featured in this blog is the typical life of a senior MaScian student, and how he bravely took the UPCAT and the DLSUCET. :D

June 2006 — Because one of his bestfriends has a blog, he was encouraged to have one as well and to get back to blogging. Blogdrive gave light to his regular blogging. He had posted his early freshman life as a UP student on that blog, which was later on erased.

September 2006 — He tried to customize his template on Blogdrive, but it didn’t appear that good. He then switched back to Blogspot. There, he have gotten the template that he desires. It was a red-and-black post-scriptum template. In addition, he discovered Haloscan, C-Box, Blogskins, Blogrolling and other sites that offer blog enhancements.

November 17, 2006 — The concept of Beta was introduced on Blogspot. Because he was not that aware that the classic template could be recovered, he erased his blog, which had 33 posts. He started from scratch. He also have a couple of readers that time. At the same instant, he contemplated on launching The Buzzerbeater right away, but he changed his mind.

January 2007 — The official launch of The Buzzerbeater. It showcases the experiences of a freshman UP student on the latter part of the year. Starting from that, The Buzzerbeater’s new love (blogging) gets more parallel to his URL, for his love become as intense as red. He has established readers, and he was also able to interact to them. In addition, he has developed genuine friendships with some of the bloggers. :D

October 6, 2007 — The Buzzerbeater moves to WordPress. This move was somehow inspired by Arnel, one of his colleagues during his sophomore year in high school. The Buzzerbeater was fascinated with the formal template that WordPress offers.

Today, The Buzzerbeater will be relaunched.

This time, he’s more political.
